MAGGIE'S STORY
Have you ever been homeless?
Have you ever been in debt?
Have you always seemed to struggle in life?
Have you ever felt something was missing in your life?
I have been through all of these things in my life, always thinking that something
was missing in my job, home and even with my family.
Then in 2007, I was asked by a friend if I would like to attend the Alpha course at her local Elim Pentecostal church. For some reason the answer yes came straight out without me having thought about it.
As I listened to the talks and took part in the discussions, everything seemed to make sense. I realised that I had struggled alone all these years when all the time God was there to help if only I would just ask him. Since asking Jesus into my life, I feel I'm never alone. I can talk to Him any time of day or night about absolutely anything. I pray regularly and find that even small problems get sorted out as well as the bigger ones. I feel so peaceful and content now, I really love my life. I'm very happy being a Christian because my life has changed in such a wonderful way.
